The Audax-ISCTE develops a set of initiatives for young people from the age of 13 until their entry into the job market, through its own programs or in partnership with Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and other national and international academic and business institutions. In line with the Lisbon Strategy as an Entrepreneurial and Innovative City, the development of entrepreneurship education for younger generations is a distinctive element of their training, based on the clear understanding that entrepreneurship is a life attitude that must be built and developed, and is an essential requirement for the creation and growth—both in quality and quantity—of business initiatives.
YA FIRST STEP PROGRAM
The YA First Step Program, developed by Audax-ISCTE, aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in a playful and engaging way among young people aged 13 to 18. The program takes place during school holidays and lasts 3 or 5 days. To date, it has welcomed 1,242 participants who, working in teams, developed 487 business ideas. This program offers young people the opportunity to:
SECONDARY SCHOOL OUTREACH PROGRAM
This Iscte program runs from January to June and aims to guide and support prospective students in accessing higher education, while promoting the Iscte brand as an academic institution of excellence. Audax is responsible for coordinating the following activities: visits to secondary schools and school visits to Iscte, participation in Futurália, Academy Iscte, and the Open Day.

- Experience an innovation ecosystem at the Labs Lisboa business incubator;
- Have a first contact with an excellent academic environment;
- Become aware of the importance of entrepreneurial thinking in society;
- Develop skills in entrepreneurship, teamwork, discipline, sales, and negotiation;
- Build the capabilities needed to design a value proposition;
- Enjoy a fun and educational holiday experience.
